If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you are looking for a good challenge to grow your career in transportation; DHL has the opportunity for you.Job Description• Drive both revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes.• Facilitate the implementation of strategic activities to grow business initiatives• Develop and maintain best business practices.• Provide industry expertise, guidance and support.• Pricing (assist in submitting timely customer bid packages and RFP's).• Develop sales pipelines.• Sell diverse book of services.• Use data to drive operational and productivity improvements.• Review Business Development activity KPIs including revenue, margin, load count, call logs and CRM adherence.• Review customer metrics in real time.• Work cross-functionally to review pricing, market penetration and service KPIs.• Assist in developing quarterly/annual budgets and operating plans.• Clearly understand goals, policies, and procedures.• Manage all team members and address employee performance (positive or negative) promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of company.• Work with the Brokerage Manager II on developing and maintaining best practices for the Carrier Procurement, Business Development, and Account Management Teams.• Make decisions about hiring needs and communicate those with the HR department.• Work side by side with the Director to ensure cohesive working relationships among all departments.• Maintain confidentiality of company information.Required Education and Experience• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required• 3 – 5 years of experience in transportation/logistics with direct brokerage experience, required• 1-3 Years' experience in a customer-facing role, required• Carrier acquisition/capacity acquisition experience, preferred Our Organization has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.
