OverviewAs a Linehaul Driver, you will transport freight between Southeastern\u2019s Service Center or designated points in-between.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas and in all types of weather conditions. Receive and verify dispatch instructions and verify load against shipping documents. When hauling hazardous material, verify the hazardous material product description, determine any discrepancies in the paperwork, and verify proper placarding. Perform all duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism.
QualificationsFor this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED, must be at least 21 years old, at least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience, a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailer endorsements, ability to read, comprehend, and write in the English language and perform simple mathematical calculations with the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps and road signs, and maintain Log, to meet DOT regulations and guidelines pertaining to the physical qualifications for commercial drivers, to satisfactorily pass alcohol and drug Test.
