Transportation Vice President Jobs

A transportation vice president serves as a member of the ATO Operations Council and provides executive leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure that design methodologies and approaches meet the technical requirements of the ATO organization. A transportation vice president collaborates with the ATO vice presidents to identify requirements and then oversees the design, management, and delivery of an integrated technical training strategy that addresses short- and long-term training needs including initial certification, refresher, proficiency, skills, and remedial training throughout the ATO. A transportation vice president transforms strategic initiatives for direct mission support technical training into concrete, high-impact programs and systems that directly drive improvements in organizational and individual performance, and builds alliances with organizations throughout the agency to ensure the integration of technical training strategies that will optimize resources, improve problem solving, and eliminate redundancies.
A transportation vice president needs skill in the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to provide assessments of and improvements to line or program operations and effectiveness. A transportation vice president position also requires skill in analyzing, evaluating, recommending, and resolving operational workflow issues or problems. A bachelor's degree or a higher level graduate degree is preferred for transportation vice president candidates.
