Roadway Express will cut 309 jobs from its Tannersville, Pennsylvania, operation in March, and move about 150 of those jobs to Yellow Transportation in Maybrook.

No employee transfers are planned to Maybrook from the Tannersville location. About a third of the jobs are expected to be filled locally, with the rest possibly being transferred from other facilities in the region.

The new jobs include drivers, dock workers, clerical positions, sales, and management.
