What you will do-
This role is for a self-starter with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional projects on the Global Transportation team. This role requires scoping, managing to project timelines, and communicating to various stakeholders on status, risks, and process changes. This role participates with cross-functional teams and will require strong relationships internally and externally.
Provide ownership of all transportation related projects and maintain records of the status of these projects
Collaborate with other members of the Global Transportation team and other members in Supply Chain, Finance, Risk Management, external partners to drive projects forward
Work with the team to prioritize new and existing projects based on urgency and benefit
Drive projects forward to ensure completion and timeliness
Build and maintain a platform to measure the internal performance of these projects.
Report out regularly to stakeholders at various levels
Identifies opportunities and leads or actively participates in process improvement initiatives globally
Proactively communicate any potential risks or project concerns immediately
Build a structured program management process
What you need-
Bachelor’s degree required
8 years of professional work experience required; 5 years of which are required to be in project management
Experience in supply chain and/or transportation highly preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Project, highly preferred
Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them
Ability to work in detail and be results oriented
Strong organization skills, ability to keep a team on task, prioritize, and communicate effectively
Work From Home: Remote
Travel Percentage: 10%
