Maintenance Jobs
A maintenance manager provides leadership and support to maintenance and operations staff, ensuring high-quality and cost-competitive services. A maintenance manager ensures that maintenance staff provide effective and timely assistance in needed repairs, maintenance, and modernization activities for all district sites. A maintenance manager assists in the preparation of necessary reports and applications to meet all district, state, and federal legal requirements. A maintenance manager uses his or her knowledge of required tools, materials, working practices, and methods. A maintenance manager is responsible for controlling a large maintenance operation. A maintenance manager should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in science. A maintenance manager should also have five years of maintenance work experience. A maintenance manager must likewise have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
