Coordinates and supervises activities of WORK-ORDER-SORTING CLERKS (utilities) engaged in routing and scheduling orders for installation and removal of gas meters and installation of main extensions and service connections. May direct service connection construction crews to areas or zones to equalize work loads. May assign trucks to transport crews to job sites. May order materials from storeroom. May maintain records and assist in preparation of reports.
